HistoryNew Embers Badminton Club formed in 2002 as a merger between Newbold and Embers Badminton Clubs which had previously been established in the Chesterfield Area for many years.
New Embers has an established social environment which helps attract and keep members from all walks of life, helping members mix ‘off-court’ and galvanising our strong family atmosphere. We hold several social gatherings a year, including Christmas and end of season meals, Ladies nights out and (occasionally!) promotion celebrations. |
FeesOur main season runs between September and May. We also play over the summer (usually May to September, depending on fixtures).
Annual membership fee: £190 Visitor's fee: £5 per session. |
